A musician turned engineer. After playing about 600 shows, releasing 6 self-recorded albums with a band, which snowballed into recording demos for everyone I knew, I decided to educate myself in recording, and pursue it seriously. After a very technical education at University of Massachusetts in Lowell, MA, I decided to pursue a more hands-on degree at Ex’pression College in Emeryville, CA. While at Ex’pression, I worked full-time in a large format studio, engineering, assisting, and even doing most of the wiring for the installation of a custom Neve console that we purchased. At the same time I was also touring live sound for a few bands, and house sound for a few venues in the San Francisco bay area. Two degrees, countless albums, and many national tours later, here I am. I strive to learn something new everyday in my craft, for there is always someone better than you, and you can ALWAYS improve.
